Cindy Herrera (Reese)

 

Lucinda Ann “Cindy” Herrera King Reese, age 52, of Evanston, Wyoming, passed away on November 1, 2011 at the University of Utah Hospital.
 
She was born May 21, 1959 in Craig, Colorado to Nelson and LaRae Herrera. She married Ty King in 1979 later divorced. Then she met her soul mate Mark Reese of 14 years.
 
Cindy greatest joy was her family, she cherished each and everyone one of them and the time she spend with them. She enjoyed working in her garden, loved her three dogs, crocheting, puzzles, reading, she loved any kind of history; she enjoyed sharing her knowledge with everyone; She could tell you anything you wanted to know about Elvis Presley from the day he was born to the day he died. She was able to go to Graceland which was her life time dream. She enjoyed traveling with her soul mate Mark. She was employed at Walmart and loved taking her breaks with her sister Dian.
 
Cindy is survived by her companion, Mark Reese, Evanston, WY; children, Nelson Shawn Sweat, Duchesne; Stephanie Ann Whitaker, Evanston, WY; Kurtys Ty (Nonnie) King, Madison, WI; Steven Ray King and daughter, formerly of Duchesne; Christopher Dillon King, Clearfield, WY; Audrey Gividen, Woods Cross; grandchildren, Kolby Sweat, Woods Cross; Lacie Sweat, Austin Miller, Napa, ID; Zakuriah and Isaiah King, Madison WI; Bridget Gividen, Woods Cross; sisters and
brother, Becky (Mike) Fay, Farmington, NM; Ray Herrera, Duchesne; Brenda (James) Caton, Dian (George) Vogt, Evanston WY; Susan (George) Burke; Donna (Mike) Holdaway and Jeanie Montague, Duchesne; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
 
Cindy is preceded in death by her grandparents, Jose and Pouline Herrera, William and Nelda Hill, parents Nelson and La Rae Herrera, aunt, Neldene Kisan, uncle, Ronnie Hill, cousins, Matt Gronginger, Rose Herrera and Thomas Herrera.

Funeral services held on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at
1:00 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Roosevelt.
Burial in the Duchesne City Cemetery under direction
of the Hullinger Mortuary.
 
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made
to the family to help with funeral expenses.
