David Green was killed in an auto accident in July, 1976.  He was engaged to be married to Rae Ann Davies (Class of 1976).  The wedding was scheduled for July 31, 1976.  David and Rae Ann were both traveling on Highway 40 to Vernal for wedding shopping and a movie when they were killed in a head-on collision.

A joint funeral was held at the Duchesne Stake Center on Tuesday, July 20, 1976.

We were married on July 10, and returned home from our honeymoon the day before the accident. We visited with them about our honeymoon and were invited to go with them to the movie the next day. However we had to get back to work and were unable to be with them. We were very saddened and in shock when we heard about the accident. Our thoughts are of them when our wedding anniversary comes each year. We miss them.
