Kids?
We have eight. Tyrel is 21 and just returned home last June from serving a mission in Independence MO. More…he will graduate from Snow this May.
Rebecca, 20 is a sophomore at Snow with Tyrel. They are both music majors. She became engaged Christmas eve to Eric Seamons (yes, from Duchesne) they will be married May 16th 2 weeks after she graduates from Snow.
Triton 17 is a Junior at DHS. (He's the only one who got his height from my side of the family.)
Raechel 15 is a Freshman at DHS
Beau 11, Bridger 8, Braiden 6, Amanda 4 ( I was really worried after having 3 boys in a row how a little girl would survive and now I hope those boys can survive!!)
Where else have you lived?

Mesa, Az.

Still have family around Duchesne?

My parents are here, and Jim is related to everybody, well almost. My sister Tracy is in Perry Ut. Travis lives around Eagle Mountain UT.

Do you still see/talk to/hang out with any classmates? Who?

I see Mr. Foster and Coach Young (who is now MR. Young the principal) quite often.

What did you do right after high school?

Went to Ricks college for a year. Came home and got married in July of 85. Moved to Mesa in May of 86. Had our first baby in April of 87 and moved home when he was 3 weeks old. We've lived here ever since. On purpose!!!

What do you do now?

Jim is a lawn maintenance contractor. I get to to do the paperwork end. Our kids work for us too. It's kind of a family business.

Married? To who? When? How long?

I married Jim Ivie (class of 79) in July of 1985. We've been married almost 24 years and loved every minute of it.

Grandkids?

not yet, just 2 dogs and 2 ducks and my neighbor's dog Freddy.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I am a mother of 8 children and we run our own business. What is spare time? We go to everything our kids are involved in from Piano competitions to wrestling matches, Pagaents to scout camps and everthing in between! And we love it. When we get the chance we like to snowmobile or camp.

What's the farthest you've been from home?

Washinton DC/Maryland

What’s your favorite memory of Duchesne High?

Too many to mention.

Least favorite memory?

Being sick in 7th grade and not quite making it to the bathroom before throwing up.
