Where else have you lived?

Just Duchesne.

Still have family around Duchesne?

My boys and their families live in Duchesne.

How often do you get back to Duchesne?

Everyday.

Do you still see/talk to/hang out with any classmates? Who?

I receive e-mail from Patsy and Tammy. I see Dawnette and Tawnya everyday at work. I see everyone else who lives in Duchesne occasionally when I run into them at the store or somewhere else in Duchesne. I usually see classmates I haven't seen in a while at the County Fair.

What did you do right after high school?

I worked, then married Randy (Skeeter) Ivie in October of 76.

What do you do now?

I work at the Duchesne Elementary in the Special Ed department. Right now I work with an Autistic boy.
I love my job! I have worked at the elementary for about 20 years now.

Married? To who? When? How long?

Married Randy (Skeeter) Ivie in 76. We've been married
32 years. 33 in October. Wow! Is that a long time or what? Seems like yesterday.

Grandkids?

I have two grandsons and two granddaughters.
Brodie - 7 (Glen's)
Jayden - 5 (Glen's)
Shaylee - 18 months (Wade's)
Addison - 8 months (Glen's)

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I love spending time with my grandkids. They love their grandma, too. I don't spoil them at all!
When the boys were growing up, we spent a lot of time going to wrestling matches, baseball games, football games, high school rodeo, and 4-H with the horses. Now, it seems that my life hasn't slowed down, I'm just busy doing other things. I like to read, quilt, go shopping and work in my yard. The most important thing I like to do is spend time with my family.

What's the farthest you've been from home?

Hawaii and the Bahamas.

What’s your favorite memory of Duchesne High?

I remember the basketball games being packed with fans, sitting on the heater in the hall, being in charge of a bake sale, sewing an outfit in Home Ec, and spending time with friends. Lots of laughing!

Least favorite memory?

When I was a freshman Ross Young put mirrors on his shoe so he could get near the girls and look up their dresses. Now it is funny, but then it wasn't.
Having to wear dresses to school was bad! I always seemed to trip on the stairs which was embarrassing.
I also got a sluff one time for missing the bus to some activity that I can't remember.

What would we be surprised to know about you?

Probably that I went to work at the elementary, took college classes, and trained to work with Sp. Ed kids.

Do you have your own website you'd like us to see?

I don't have a website.

Anything else we should know?

I like living in Duchesne. I think it is a great place to raise your family. Hope to hear from all of you.
