Wallace Potter

Wallace Potter passed away on December 14, 2000 as the result of a brain aneurysm.

His obituary read as follows:

Wallace Lang Potter, age 42, of Utahn died December 14, 2000 in Duchesne. He was born July 26,1958 in Roosevelt to Elton P. and Arva Lang Potter. He married Jennifer DeLange in 1985, they were later divorced. Wallace was a true cowboy, he loved to work on the ranch, he enjoyed working with the animals.  One of his favorite things was to help children with their fair animals. His favorite hobbies were fishing and hunting. He was liked by everyone, and had a great talent of being able to talk with everyone. He will be truly missed by all those who knew him.


He is survived by his children: Shane, Tyson, Kaitlyn, Orem, his parents Elton and Arva, Utahn, grandmother Nellie Lang, Duchesne, brothers and sisters, Julia (Terry) Abbott, Duchesne, Nolan Potter, Midland, TX, Alan (Marilyn) Potter, Utahn, Janice (Guy) Taylor Jr., Utahn, Jeffrey (Roni) Potter, Utahn, Laura (Shasta) Foulk, Kearns, Ellis (Carey) Potter, Mountain Home, and Ronald (Vera) Potter, Tabiona. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday December 18th at the Duchesne LDS Stake Center, 901 N 500 E. Friends and family may call Sunday, December 17th at the Hillinger Mortuary or at the church Monday from 11:30-12:45. Burial will be in the Utahn Cemetery under the direction of the Hullinger Mortuary.

Dear Wally my heart was sick to hear that you are gone. You were such a clown and such a sweeheart. You were a good friend and drinking buddy.
