Kym Renee Simmons, 54, of Wallace, Idaho, passed away July 29, 2012 at the family home of Wallace. 

She was born September 18, 1958 at Billings, Montana; Kym is the daughter of Glynn and Judith (Britt) Mayson. Kym attended and graduated from High School in Duchesne, Utah.

Kym married Brian P. Simmons on August 20, 1994 at Beatty, Nevada.

Kym has lived in many of the western states. Brian, Kym and family moved to the Silver Valley one and a half years ago.

Kym was a member of the Women's Division of the Moose Lodge. She loved and enjoyed her family, crafts, gardening, wood carving (she made beautiful Santa Clauses for family and friends), and was a rock hound. Kym was a friend to many; she made friends wherever she traveled.

Kym is survived by her beloved husband, Brian Simmons, of the family home of Wallace; two daughters, Kailee M. Simmons and Johnna R. Simmons, both of Wallace, ID; her mother, Judith Mayson, of Boulder City, NV; her father, Glynn Mayson, of Cleveland, OK; two brothers, Doug Mayson and Glynn Mayson, both of Las Vegas, NV; three sisters, Bonnie Diamond, of Reno, NV, Brandie Grant, of Park City, UT, and Brittany Mayson, of Reno, NV; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 3, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the Kellogg Funeral Chapel of Kellogg, Idaho. Cremation will be held following services.
