Ray Liddell - Class Of 1983 VIEW PROFILE

Ray Shawn Liddell, 54, of Myton, Utah, passed away May 10, 2020, at home with his loving wife by his side, after a short courageous battle with cancer.

He was born June 15, 1965, to Ron and Carol Liddell, he was the youngest of 6 children. On January 8, 1994, he married the love of his life Teresa Rowley.

Ray was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He was raised on a farm on the outskirts of Duchesne, where he learned the value of hard work which he carried throughout his life. He was an avid hunter who looked forward to taking his boys hunting around Dry Gulch every year. Fall was his favorite time of year, not only for hunting season but because it was the most beautiful to him. He discovered a love for wrestling at a young age, in which he excelled, he loved fishing, shed hunting, archery, and collecting guns. He enjoyed working with leather, playing guitar, gardening, weight lifting and riding his motorcycle in his spare time, but most of all he loved his family, was very proud of his children and had a great love for God.

Ray is survived by his wife and four children, Kolby (Ashley) Hoover, North Salt Lake; Keeton (Aline) Hoover; Kylee (Dustin) Stewart and Kason Liddell, all of Roosevelt; grandchildren, Nathan, Yasmin, Kyson, William, Addison, Mia, Brooke and Tyler. His siblings, Michael (Carla) Liddell; Lanette (Florin) Owen; Marcus (Connie) Liddell; Jody (Jean) Liddell; Roy Liddell, along with his beloved mother Carol Liddell and his father-in-law, Keith Rowley.

Ray was preceded in death by his father Ron Liddell, and mother-in-law Barbara Mecham Rowley. Ray will be missed tremendously.

A viewing will be held Thursday, May 14, 2020, at Hullinger Mortuary from 10 a.m.- 12 noon.  In keeping with the COVID-19 recommendations, a maximum of 20 individuals will be allowed in the mortuary at a time.  A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. at the Duchesne Cemetery, followed by lunch.
