Robert Elzy Nielsen, age 38, son of Amy Potter and the late Mark Amos Nielsen, passed away peacefully at his home in Vernal on March 24, 2002. He was born December 30, 1963 in Murray, Utah and grew up in Indian Canyon. He married Bobbie Brooks on July 2, 1982; they had 3 daughters. They were later divorced. The greatest loves of his life were his 3 daughters. He also enjoyed arrowhead hunting, big game hunting, reading - especially Louis L'Amour books, and being in Indian Canyon. He is survived by his daughters, Kietra Marie, Kara Rose and Trya Babette Nielsen all of Montana; his mother Amy of Vernal; brothers and sisters, Leneta (Bill) Walk, Grantsville; Doug (Yordis) Nielsen, Duchesne; Clay (Julie) Nielsen, Duchesne; Joyce (Earl) Mitchell, Springville; Kent (Linda) Nielsen, Salt Lake City; Barbara (Larry) Barnett, Vernal; and Laurie (T.C.) Lee, Vernal. He was proceeded in death by his father, Mark Amos; brother, Mark A. Nielsen; and his grandparents Niels Eyner and Martha Agnes Nielsen and George Elzy and Maude Hall Potter.
