Where else have you lived?
We moved from Duchesne during the spring of 1981, my junior year. So I officially graduated from Carbon High in Price. But still count Duchesne as my home!
After graduating from CEU, I attended the University of Utah for a couple of years before transferring to Weber State to graduate - FINALLY in December of 89.
I returned to Japan for about 15 months returning to the states in 91 before moving to Dallas/Fort Worth. I have been in Texas since.
Still have family around Duchesne?
My parents moved from Price to Elsinore -just outside Richfield - in 2006. So I don't make it back to Duchesne much other than returning in 2007 for the 25th reunion!
My brother Justin (JB) lives in Lehi and sister Lara lives in Grand Junction.
Do you still see/talk to/hang out with any classmates? Who?
Not so much.... Been in some communication with some folks the past couple of years since our reunion and with the advent of Facebook!
What did you do right after high school?
I worked for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) for several summers fighting wildfires. I mixed in some college at CEU, Utah and Weber and a church mission to Fukuoka Japan from 83-85.
What do you do now?
In 91, I moved to Fort Worth to open the Japanese reservation desk at American Airlines. A few years later, I transferred to their sister company- Sabre Holdings - where I worked in technical support, account management, customer service and training until 2007.
Married? To who? When? How long?
I married a co-worker at American Airlines in 1994. Robin is from Sanford, NC and has two sons from a previous marriage.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
From 2001-2003, I used my spare time to complete an MBA degree from SMU's Cox School of Business. I had a dual concentration in Brand Management and Financial Consulting. That was grueling on many aspects of my life!
We mainly chase girls to basketball, volleyball soccer, church activities and the usual.
We also like to travel with the flight privileges offered through Robin's employment with American Airlines.
What’s your favorite memory of Duchesne High?
My dad, Joel, always said that the reason they call it Duchesne is that there is so much to do!
